Have any questions?

Check out our answers to the most popular questions.

  • What are the signs that I need to see a periodontist?

Common signs include bleeding gums, gum recession, persistent bad breath, loose teeth, and deep pockets around the teeth. If you experience any of these, a periodontal evaluation is recommended.

  • How long does it take to recover after a surgery?

Healing time varies depending on the procedure. Non-surgical treatments may require only a few days, while surgical procedures like gum grafting or regenerative surgery can take a few weeks. Your periodontist will provide personalized aftercare instructions.

  • Are dental implants a good option if I have gum disease?

Dental implants can be a great option, but active gum disease must be treated first to ensure a healthy foundation. A periodontist will assess your bone and gum health to determine the best approach for implant placement.
